The default portal includes all of your public collections, located at your company’s Smartimage URL. For example, widenexpeditions.smartimage.com is the default portal for Widen Expeditions. Since the portal isn’t indexed by search engines, the only way to navigate to the default portal is by having the URL.
To set a default portal, select multiple collections and choose Set as Default Portal under Batch Actions. If you’ve selected any private or password-protected collections for the default portal, a message will display notifying you of that selection.
You can add a password to a default portal for visitors to enter when accessing the portal. If a password is not entered, anyone who has the URL can view any of the collections you have added to the default portal.
Passwords can be added or edited after a default portal is created by clicking the globe icon next to the default portal link on the home page or from the Portal Links page.
You can also create custom portals.
